Old stories in old trains

Feliz inicio de año a todos!!!
Espero el inicio esté siendo de mucho bien para cada uno de ustedes y que de la misma manera tengan propósitos que están empezando a cumplirse. Por otra parte yo siempre me encuentro encantadísima por compartir con ustedes. Y déjenme contarles que en este último viaje visité uno de los museos de trenes viejos en el estado de California, Estados Unidos. Quedé asombrada por los modelos de trenes que aún se encuentran en el museo y no puedo imaginar cuantas historias ocurrieron en esos vagones.

I hope this new year its going so well for each one of you and in the same way that the purposes you made ending last year and started this one had begin already. On other hand I am always pleased to share with you all and let me tell you in this last trip I visited one of the oldest train museums in the state of California, United States. I was amazed by the train models that are still there in the museum and I cannot imagine the richness of stories happened in each of the wagons.

El outfit de este día fue algo muy fresco y de tonos fríos, les explico un poco más sobre el vestuario del día. Utilizo una camisa de mangas largas, de tela no muy gruesa color blanco con botones como detalles en la parte del cuello redondo, además una chaqueta corta color beige con franjas azul claro y un pantaloncillo corto de tela color índigo. También llevo un cinturón delgado color café y un bolso de charol negro.

For the outfit of the day I used something very fresh and with cold tones, let me explain a little more about the outfit. I am wearing a long sleeve shirt, the fabric is not that thicker. It is white and with buttons as the detail in the circular neck, furthermore a short beige blazer with light blue stripes and a short of fabric, not denim, of Indigo color. I am also wearing a leather belt and a black patented leather purse.

Happy thanks giving to all of my American friends and readers and for those who don't celebrated this holiday, Christmas is around the corner. Feliz dia de acción de gracias para todos mis amigos americanos y para esos que no lo celebran, la navidad esta en la siguiente esquina. Es una oportunidad para celebrar con la familia, amigos, seres queridos y es cambien un momento para recordar las metas propuestas a realizarse en 2014. Cuantos de ustedes cumplieron sus propósitos? pues espero muchos de sus propósitos se hayan cumplido. Esta vez tuve la oportunidad de visitar la costa oeste de Estados Unidos y quedé asombrada por la riqueza en historia que el estado de California tiene y para este viaje…

For the outfit of the day I choose a very simple style focusing on the B&W, which in my opinion always match perfectly. The white cardigan is made of very thick pieces of white fabric that are rolled up one to another giving the appearance to be wool, even though is not wool the cardigan keeps the body warm on a cold winter!

Para el vestuario de este dia elegí algo muy simple enfocando en el color blanco y negro, que en lo personal creo que el blanco y negro siempre combinan perfectamente. El cardigan blanco está hecho por piezas de tela blanca que van enrolladas una con otra y dan la apariencia de que es lana, aunque no sea lana, le da un toque muy bonito y además va muy bien con este clima de invierno.

Negro acentuado como el color de los zapatos con detalles dorados en las puntas de las cintas, y el bolso, cuero de charol.

I must not forget about the beautiful piece of art which is part of one of the places I visited on the journey a mosaic with colonial details, my favorite!!

Bonjour New Orleans

Hi!
I hope the weekend has been a space for relaxing for you guys. My weekend was fabulous, for I had the opportunity to adventure in a location I didn't know, New Orleans, the city of Jazz. Its streets full of people from all over the world, music, souvenir stores and a lot of night life made of my trip something unforgettable.
One of the characteristic that out stand the most, and what made me love the city was its architecture, I couldn't keep on walking without taking pictures of all of the details that I was finding and less with that french touch of the city. Bourbon street was an spectacular place, full of small bars, restaurants and each one of them with a particular characteristic. The balconies of that street were another detail that I loved the most and from there people throw necklaces of different color. On other hand it was also the Spanish Plaza, known by its colorful ties that represented each of the provinces of Spain, another detail I loved the most, and besides that because it was located near one of the biggest rivers in the whole United States, the Mississippi. And for last I could't get back without of the city without getting one of the masks, which is normally used in the festival of Mardi Gras that unfortunately it does not happen on the fall but on February.

Espero el fin de semana haya sido un espacio para descansar para ustedes. Mi fin de semana estuvo fabuloso, ya que tuve la oportunidad de aventurarme en un lugar que no conocía, Nueva Orleans, la capital del jazz . Sus calles llenas de personas de todo el mundo, música, tiendas de souvenirs y vida nocturna, hicieron del viaje algo inolvidable.
Cabe destacar que uno de las características que amé de la ciudad fue su arquitectura, no podía seguir caminando sin tomar fotografías de cada detalle que encontraba y menos con ese toque francés de la ciudad.
La calle Bourbon conocida en inglés como "Bourbon street" es un lugar espectacular, llenísimo de pequeños bares, restaurantes cada uno con una concepto distinto. Los balcones de esa calle fueron otra de característica inolvidable, ya que desde arriba lanzaban collares de distintos colores, algo que es común cuando de hacer cuando la noche inicia. Otro lugar fue la plaza España bella por tener azulejos de cada una de las provincias de España lo cual me encantó, y por ubicarse cerca de uno de los ríos más extensos en Estados Unidos, el río Mississippi. Por último no podía regresarme de la ciudad sin antes conseguir una de las espectaculares caretas que usualmente se utilizan en el desfile del Mardi Gras que lastimosamente se celebra en febrero y no en esta época de otoño.

A few days ago I was thinking that for this kind of weather loose hair is fantastic because sometimes your hair also needs a break and avoid the use of tight bands. Therefore I want to share two wonderful products, well, one wonderful product and, one accesory that will keep your look always trendy. 

1 An objection to your hair
The product is of the hair line of Loreal Paris. Its name is Oil therapy expertise sulfate free hair system and is composed of six flower oils that provide impressive smoothness to the hair. I have been using this product for over six months now and it has worked incredibly.
 The way I use it is after washing my hair, no need to rinse and leaves no aspect of oily hair.

 2 Transparency
This necklace is a seamless garment that can be used in any season or when you decide to dress casual. Transparent detail makes looks gorgeous with tops without too much crew neck or if you want to put more emphasis on the neck and shoulders. The transparent effect makes the effect that the details are attached to your skin, and being honest I love love that detail.

Casi finalizado septiembre le doy la especial bienvenida no solo a ustedes quienes visitan mi blog sino también a Octubre y sus vientos. Que mejor temporada para combinar tu ropa con los colores tierra que tanto son de mi agrado.  Hace días estuve pensando en que para este tipo de clima, llevar la melena suelta va muy bien, a veces tu cabello también necesita de un respiro y evitarse de ajustarlo demasiado con bandas para el cabello y por ello les quiero compartir dos opciones magnificas, una para el cabello y la otra, un accesorio que convertirá de cualquier look algo sobresaliente.

este es el producto del que quiero hablarles, es un producto de la linea para cabello de Loreal parís. Su nombre Oleo Therapy hair expertise sulfate free system y esta compuesto por seis aceites de flores que brindan una suavidad impresionante a tu cabello. He estado usando este producto por mas de 6 meses y me ha funcionado fenomenal.

El modo en que lo uso es después de lavar mi cabello, no necesita de enjuague y además no deja un aspecto de aceite en tu cabello.

2 Accesorios Transparente
este collar transparente es una prenda que puede utilizarse en cualquier estación del año o cuando decidas vestir casual. El detalle transparente le hace un accesorio fácil de utilizar si decides poner camisas de tirantes o si deseas hacer más énfasis en el cuello y hombros. El efecto transparente hace que el accesorio parezca que los detalles en el están adheridos a tu piel. Y siéndoles sincera me encanta ese detalle.

EDGY Attitude

Hey my Diamonds it's me again and I want to show you more of the look of today, inspired on the Edgy look a little bit on the street style. I am sorry I haven't post the video I told you guys I was going to upload regarding my little bit makeup routine but I am working on it so stay tuned because I will upload it soon!!! BUT meanwhile

Here are some shots of the photo shoot.

 ...and so I choose that blouse which has a giant typographic "NO" over it and it has the half black and half white fabric. I love incredibly that combination of B&W on cloth and in photographs. I ad some black boots to the look to make it more EDGY and a golden bracelet. It is a very simple but outstanding look with a lot of attitude on!!!

Bienvenidas una vez más al blog de Petite Georgette. Tengo muy buenas noticias que contarles, pronto estaré subiendo en línea en un video la rutina que he estado utilizando durante los días de verano la cual es también una rutina que pueden seguir cuando sea que ustedes deseen cuando el clima caliente llegue.

Mermaid Concept

"The Mermaid Concept," is the name for this look. The crop top has buttons and it is combined with sequins in blue, yellow and gold colors which gives an amazing touch. As I've told in previous posts summer is a season of challenges in terms of clothing but everything is in knowing how to combine clothes; in this look I decided to use a black cloth pants with zippers at the bottom. The pant's style is much of an Aladdin pants that can be used with sandals or heels, as I did.

  Makeup
 As the crop top I have used eyeshadows of fresh tones, very bluish and cool, with an orange glow blush tone on the chickbones.

"El Concepto Sirena," es el nombre para este look. El crop top que uso tiene botones y lentejuelas combinados en los colores celeste, amarillo y dorado que le da un toque increíble. Como les he contado en post anteriores el verano es una temporada de retos en cuanto a vestimenta pero todo esta en saber combinar la ropa; en este look decidi utilizar un pantalón de tela negra con cremalleras en la parte inferior. Su estilo es como el del pantalón bombacho que puede usarse con sandalias o tacones, tal como lo hice yo. 

  Maquillaje
Y en cuanto a maquillaje he usado tonos semejantes a los del crop top que son tonos azulados y frescos con un rubor tono naranja.
